Welcome to Visit Bainbridge!

Welcome to Bainbridge! Here, you'll discover the true beauty of the Old South and experience the graciousness of Southern hospitality with modern day amenities and an “It’s better being outdoors” attitude.

The Flint River and Lake Seminole offer abundant fishing and water sports, so much so that Georgia State Legislature named us the Bass Capital of Georgia in 2009.

Both the river and the lake attract thousands of amateur and professional anglers each year. Additional recreation includes world class hunting and tennis facilities, miles of trails, a BMX Pump Track and the state’s first ever National Fitness Court. When it’s time to slow your pace, enjoy our unique downtown with locally sourced and fresh restaurants choices, plenty of outdoor dining, public art and an open container district to enjoy a night cap!

Discover Bainbridge, Georgia

Known for our tree-lined streets and elegant old antebellum and Victorian homes, the town continues to revolve around its central square, Willis Park, which is beautiful maintained. The high clock tower of the Victorian-era Dectur County Courthouse rises above one corner and the surrounding blocks are lined with historic buildings, the majority of them over 100 years old.
